Termite inspections are carried out in accordance with AS3660. Inspections include thermal camera scan, Termatrac T3i Radar, Moisture detection and full photographic report. Report and certification will be provided for you to renew or initiate Bayer Protect. * Based on a standard 3 bedrooms sized home.

By activating your Free Bayer Protection Warranty you will be covered by the Bayer Protection Program and be protected by our exclusive $1m warranty. This will ensure that remedial action and repair will be completely managed by Bayer if termites happen to gain access to your home and cause damage within the warranty period. This warranty is renewable annually for the life of the structure.
Your first 12 months of protection is free and commences from the time of activation. You must ensure that you register within six months of moving into your home. Type in your installation number (found on your Certificate of Compliance paperwork), verify and update your address and contact details.
You will receive a confirmation email once your warranty has been successfully activated, and another email prior to your warranty expiring. This is 12 months from the date of activation.
Safeguarding your home from termite attack and retaining your $1 million worth of termite cover is easy:
- Prior to your free Bayer Protection Warranty expiring, the Kordon Warranty Centre will send you a reminder email four weeks before the warranty expires and then again two weeks later (two weeks before the warranty expires).
- Should you wish to renew your Bayer Protection Warranty, you will be given the option to book and pay your annual inspection and warranty renewal online with one of our participating Bayer Accredited Timber Pest Inspectors or you can book an inspection yourself and arrange payment for your inspection and Bayer Protection Warranty renewal with your inspector. Please note, that the inspector you select must be a Bayer Accredited Timber Pest Inspector.
- Once your property has been inspected (and treated if necessary) you will be emailed a copy of your new Bayer Protection Warranty.
Continue the Bayer Protection Warranty Program after 12 Months
Bayer offers Australia’s most comprehensive termite protection system, the Bayer Protection Program. If you choose to activate and be covered by the Bayer Protection Program, you will be protected by our exclusive $1m warranty. Unlike many other warranties, this will ensure that remedial action and repair will be completely managed by Bayer if termites happen to gain access to your home and cause damage within the warranty period. This warranty is renewable annually for the life of the structure.* You may activate your first 12 months coverage under the Bayer Protection Program by clicking here.

What if I don’t register for the Bayer Protection Program?
Even if you choose not to opt into the Bayer Protection Program, Bayer still stands by the quality of its Kordon Termite Barrier and warrants the physical structure of the barrier from the time of installation for six years. Please note that even with a termite barrier installed, termites can gain entry to your home if certain protective measures are not in place.
This warranty does not extend to protection against damage or errors at installation or any infestation occurring where the barrier has not actually been penetrated by termites. You as the homeowner must ensure that your home is regularly inspected and must manage the investigation into the cause and remedy of such infestations.
